Mid-Columbia Economic Development District provides flexible business lending in Skamania and Klickitat Counties in Washington. As a non-traditional financer, we provide loans of all sizes to businesses at all stages.
About
Mid-Columbia Economic Development District (MCEDD) works to promote the creation of family-wage jobs, the diversification of the economic base, and the growth, development and retention of business and industry within the five-county district, including Skamania and Klickitat Counties in Washington and three Oregon counties. As a service to the regional business community and as a strong part of our economic development strategy for the region, MCEDD staff manages a business loan program that provides an accessible, affordable source of capital for projects that create or retain jobs. Business loans can be used to contribute to purchase or build new facilities, purchase equipment, or provide working capital. Almost any legal business including sole proprietorships, LLCs, Corporations, and partnerships can apply. We support start-ups, established businesses, and businesses from most sectors. Loans can range from $1,000 to $250,000 or more.
