About

Caring with Compassion Community-CwCC’s Vision is to create a fellowship of peers that will provide a safe community of support to Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC), underserved marginalized individuals who are victims of criminal assault, have experienced "trauma", emotional, mental, disabilities and encounter barriers in their journey to holistic wellness.

CwCC’s Mission is to practice person-centered care with a trauma-informed approach to ensure the physical and mental safety of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), underserved individuals, or are victims of criminal assault. We support everyone's potential, recognizing and building on their strength, and valuing purpose through community. CwCC

Goals:  

  • Meet everyone “where they are” and progress toward holistic wellness. 
  • Model faith-based care and compassion. 
  • Train and support Peer Navigators, Peer Mentors, and Certified Peer Counselors.
  • Encourage and Inspire Personal and Professional development. 
  • Provide Vocational and Employment resources. 
  • Offer navigation of resources and support to find safe housing. 
  • Refer and assist individuals in navigating and advocating to the proper medical, legal, and social service agencies.
  • Collaborate with community agencies. 
  • Teach Leadership and advocacy skills
  • Assist entrepreneurs
