Seattle Business Education Hub (SBE HUB) is a business and Financial Literacy and Technical Assistance center with a mission to provide technical assistance and business consulting to startups and established businesses with less than 20 employees. SBEHUB targets women, refugees, veterans, LGBT, and other business owners in the startup or growth stage. SBE HUB has three fundamental focus areas : Entrepreneurship, Business Education, and Financial Literacy. Entrepreneurship side, SBEHUB provides technical Assistance to business owners who have been historically challenged in gaining access to Technical Assistance, Financial Literacy, Markets, and Capital to prosper and create livable wage jobs.
On the Business Education side, SBE HUB operates the Micro Business Assistance program that includes Cash Flow Management, Budget Development, Business Plan Development, Marketing Plan Financial Plan, and Labor Standards and Compliances.
On the Financial Literacy side, SBE HUB provides Financial Capability training to address challenges new immigrants , Low-Income families, and youths are facing when it comes to Money Management and the U.S. banking system. The training focuses on Banking, Saving, Budgeting, Investment, and protection against scams and frauds. SBE HUB also offers capacity building to the grassroot not for profit organizations.
