Seattle Good Business Network

Seattle Good Business Network connects and inspires people to buy, produce, and invest locally, so that everyone has a meaningful stake in the local economy.

About

Seattle Good Business Network’s work is at the intersection of equity, economy, and the environment. Our programs include:

Seattle Made supports 750 urban manufacturers and producers by connecting them to each other and to the resources they need to thrive in Seattle. Seattle Restored, coordinated in partnership with Shunpike and the City of Seattle Office of Economic Development, activates vacant storefronts with pop-up shops and art installations from local entrepreneurs, artists, and makers in Seattle neighborhoods.

Good Food Economy includes Good Food Forum (an online community connecting regional food system stakeholders to facilitate new market opportunities, share resources, and more); Good Food Kitchens, which supports restaurants and caterers to prepare nutritious culturally relevant meals for those facing food insecurity, and Seattle Restaurant Week.

Sustainable Business and Circular Economy programming connects businesses with resources and technical assistance to operate more sustainably.

Our Youth program helps to connect Seattle youth, from all backgrounds and levels of experience, to meaningful learning, career, and leadership opportunities through paid internships, while NW Sewn runs Washington state’s first registered apprenticeship program for Industrial Sewing Machine Operators.
